So, now that 2012 wedding season has officially begun. I’ve had a little time to reflect on all my 2011 clients and it’s gotten me thinking about what our first year of marriage was like. How new everything seemed and how we were SO busy that all of a sudden our first anniversary was right on top of us and we barely had any plans (let along a gift for one another). Your first anniversary is the “paper anniversary.” Which, lets face it, isn’t that easy. I tried to do a little research on my whole “why paper” question and came up with varying responses. Some theories say it’s because the first year is the most fragile year (maybe true, but still… Paper? really?). Some say it’s because in their first year you are focused on making ends meet so you get a little creative with a simple paper gift to celebrate. The truth is, I still have NO clue why it’s paper. Frankly, I’d have an easier time with ANY other material.
But, you know what IS paper? Photos (obvi). And if you didn’t do a boudoir album as a wedding present (like I did), this would be a GREAT idea for your first anniversary. I guarantee he’ll love it…

Happy Thursday!

I’m super happy to say that I actually crossed off all of my SMP to-do’s I had on my list last week. Yay for productivity!! I even re-joined the gym (I know, about time!) AND managed to make it there every day! Working out has always been a stress reliever for me, however, since going full time and the start of wedding season, I found myself gym-less and replacing my daily workouts with caffeine and 5 hour energy shots! Anyhow, good to be back on track physically… and I even had a little time left over to see Bridesmaids with two photog friends (hysterical, in case you were wondering!) & squeeze in a two date nights with Joe all before Saturday’s trip to the Cape for Kelli & Justin’s wedding!
{1. Cleveland Circle T stop en route to Fenway… | 2. … Fenway with Joe | 3. yes, please! | 4. one of my favorite boudoir albums delivered! | 5. ‘stach tat | 6. SMP data management upgrade… drobo! | 7. pre-wedding smoothie with Olivia @ Earthly Delights in Osterville | 8. client love!}
…and speaking of client love! Here’s a peek from Kelli & Justin’s beautiful Cape wedding yesterday! K+J, congrats & thank you for having me as a part of your day! Have a wonderful honeymoon… see you guys when you get back!! xo

Happy Sunday! Here’s to another productive week!
