I met Heather last October.  It was almost a year to the date from their wedding date.  We met for coffee, unfortunately Pat couldn’t join us, but luckily for me Heather brought along her mom and soon to be mother-in-law in his place.  We got to chat about all things wedding and then they were off to look for Heather’s wedding dress.  As any bride knows, wedding planning can get stressful, and family …  well, sometimes the people closest to you can be the hardest to work with!  But these three ladies warmed my heart.  It was so wonderful to see the excitement in each of them.  Heather’s mom was almost beaming and Pat’s mom was so happy to be gaining a daughter in Heather.  I could tell that this wedding will not only be a celebration of Heather and Pat, but also a celebration of two families coming together.  Isn’t that what its really all about!?  I’m so thrilled that I get to be a part of it!

Okay, picture time!! I just loved this early morning Fenway session…. hope you do, too!

Oh, one more thing…  both moms (and Heather) told me that I’d have my work cut out with Pat… he supposedly is “not a pictures guy.”  I dunno, you tell me!  I think this “not a pictures guy” totally killed it!!!

H&P, What can I say!? You two rocked Fenway!  Thanks for being troopers in the cold… it paid off, right?  I can’t wait to celebrate with you and your families! xo

So… you think planning a wedding is stressful?   Then meet Darci & Drew.   BOTH in their third year of law school, taking the bar in June AND planning a wedding.  Now, I’m no lawyer, but I did just plan a wedding so I can say with certainty that this is a challenge not for the faint of heart!

So, I was happy to be able to give Darci & Drew an excuse to take a break from their studying, paper writing and wedding planning to meet me for their “tour de Boston” engagement shoot.  Before you peek at their images, let me just say the spark between these two was unreal.  Un. Real.  Maybe it was the excitement to not be in the library for a few hours, but I’ll blame it on love (woah, corny Suz!  I know I know).

But in all seriousness, sometimes you can just tell when people are meant for each other.  You can see it in all the little things… the smallest touch, a quick kiss while nobody’s looking … they’re just connected, like they were the only two people in the world.  Totally authentic…and I loved every second of it!

Yup, Darci & Drew are that couple.  I knew without a doubt from the very first frame.   They were fierce! (yeah, I said it… I quoted Tyra… again!)

Hard to pick a favorite, but this one is certainly at the top of my list!

l-o-v-e Darci’s Boots… adorable, right?

Let’s end with another major favorite!  I love this one… just something about the way they’re looking at each other… so sweet!

D&D, I had SO much fun with you guys!  You guys seriously lit up the day!  Best of luck with your wedding planning & I hope to see you both soon! xo Suz
