Fort Point is one of my absolute favorite places in Boston to shoot (and not only because I get to go to Flour while I’m there!). I’ve shot engagement sessions in this area before and it’s always a really good exercise to find a new perspective on the same locations. Well, all I can say is that Katie & Joe made this process really easy! They were naturals in front of the camera and were up for ALL my crazy ideas…what a fun afternoon!

Okay, so who knew the Fenway area was so cool!? And by Fenway, I do not mean the stadium! I met Erica & Geoff on a beautiful Friday in September for a stroll around their neighborhood. Nestled right behind Fenway Park, this little area is definitely a hidden gem! I’ll be going back for sure!
So we walked for quite a bit during this session. It was a beautiful day and a Friday so there were quite a few people soaking up the last bits of summer sun. But the best location of the night was right in front of us the whole time: Their front steps. By the time we got back, the light was nice and soft and there was hardly any foot traffic on their street. This gave Erica & Geoff the chance to cuddle up and open up in front of the camera just a little bit more! And I LOVED that! Just goes to show you that you don’t have to go far or stress over locations or what to do for your engagement photos… it’s all right there: a sweet couple and beautiful light… and the rest just takes care of itself!
I saved my favorite for last!
