Meet Sydney Jamia….. born on February 7th (which would have been her grandmother’s 65th birthday), 7 lbs, 7 oz at 1:15 pm. I’m thinking 7 will be her lucky number?
Syd is the newest addition to “The Group,” Drew’s little sister and MY Goddaughter!!!!! I’m SO excited about that last part… I seriously can’t wait to spoil this little girl to pieces!
I had such a fun day getting to meet Sydney for the first time. She is absolutely perfect and was an angel putting up with her first photo shoot with an entourage of guests! I have a feeling this is the first of MANY blog posts you’ll see featuring this little munchkin!! And being that she’s my Goddaughter, Syd now has an entire folder all to her own on my hard drive (which is a big deal in my world!). Here’s a few from her “2 week” folder!

A Very Proud God Mom
I only snapped a few pictures today. I had planned to be home for the weekend, but hadn’t planned to meet this adorable little muffin, too!! Lucky me!
So, I showed up last minute with no gift, Little Drummer Boy style (I have no gift to bring Pa rum pum pum pum… get it?), BUT… I had my camera!
Today, I got to see one of my oldest & dearest friends in her first moments as a mom! I’ve known Candice for 15 years! Seems like yesterday that I met Candice as a freshman in high school, she was a my teammate and became a fast friend. We shared about a million inside jokes, nicknames, and laughs over the years… and now this same girl now has a little girl of her own…. tear!
Yup, it was one of those “wow, I guess we’re really grown ups” moments… and I was SO happy to be apart of it!
Gia, you are one lucky little girl it was awesome to meet you! Candice & John, love you both to pieces. So happy for you two… she is perfect.
