Sometimes the best locations are right under your nose.  And lately I’ve been loving parking garages.  I’ve managed to sneak in a few shots here and there (like this one, this one and this one), but I have wanted to do a dedicated parking garage shoot for a long time and then… along came Lisa & Matt.

Lisa & Matt are, actually, already married and living in London.  So, I was so happy we could do this shoot while they were stateside for the Holidays!

Here are a few of my favorites.  Let’s just say if I thought I liked parking garages before, I love them now!

L&M, You guys are awesome!  Thanks for being up for something a bit out of the box!

Happy Monday!

Alright, it’s time to meet a very, very special 2012 couple:  Andrea & Jules (and their pup, Hazel)

Andrea is an amazing photographer herself (see: Servidone Studios) and has become a good friend of mine since moving back to Boston and starting my business.  When she first asked me about shooting her wedding I truthfully almost fell off my chair.  Shooting the wedding of another wedding photographer, especially a good friend and peer whose work I admire myself, adds a whole other level or responsibility.  And I seriously could NOT be more humbled, honored and excited.   This will be a wedding to remember for sure (oh, and as a bonus:  I get to shoot with my good friend Laura of Ruby Shoes Photography!).

Sessions like this remind me just how cool my job is.  Actually, sessions like this remind me how cool it is that my job doesn’t feel like a job at all!  I get to hang out with my friends on a Wednesday afternoon and take pictures of them?  Someone pinch me!!

I’m sure it was a small adjustment for Andrea to be in front of the camera for a change, but she could have fooled me.  Her and Jules are simply effortless together.  Seriously, it’s like the cute just pours out of these two!  Here are some of my favorites…

Favorite alert!!

This doesn’t really count as an out take, but I thought I’d include them anyhow!  Nothing like a little pre engagement session game of corn hole!

A & J, so happy for the two of you.  I hope you love your engagement photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!  Counting the days ’till May!

Happy Tuesday!

So, this next part is not typically my style but I’ve been playing around more with off camera flash and recently became the proud owner of a bran-spakin’-new Alien Bee, which I use for my photo booth at weddings.  Naturally, this new piece of equipment…
