Today’s a good day. It’s my first weekend without a wedding to shoot since June 4th! PHEW! So naturally, Joe and I have a double header weekend of non wedding activities: football watching, a tiny bit of photo taking (photographers need photos for xmas cards, too!) and dinners with friends! Plus, it’s 11/11/11! So for all these reasons I figured I’d make today even better (if that’s possible) and blog Rose & Tucker’s wedding. And I know Rose has be dying to see her photos. And lets be honest, I’ve made her wait long enough!
It had been just over a year since I shot Rose & Tucker’s engagement session. And there we were, just 6 days before the big day. Sitting on the patio at Devlin’s in Brighton Center, Sam Octoberfests in hand, FINALLY chatting about all their wedding details! The more we talked, the more and more excited I got. There’s nothing I love more than a good Holy Cross love story (and this particular HC wedding would have lots of familiar faces)! I was so honored and excited to be able to capture this day for Rose and Tucker! Let’s kick it off with the guys …
Tucker’s wedding day note! SO, so cute!
Finger on the nose! Stops tears every time!
This might just be my favorite bridal portrait … maybe ever!
Okay, remember those familiar faces I was talking about?? You’ll recognize Meghan on the far right from her Charlestown engagement session (she and Derek will be tying the knot next month!)!!
And this guy here on the right, next to Tucker’s brother, you’ll recognize Jimmy from his Fenway engagement session! He and Julie tied the knot last weekend at HC! Wait until you see their images!!!
Another familiar face: 2nd in from the left, you’ll recognize Elizabeth from her Beacon Hill engagement session! Since Rose’s wedding, her and Eric tied the knot as well!! Congrats Liz!
In keeping with their baseball theme, Rose and Tucker had their guests sign baseballs as their guest book! Love this detail!
The new Mr & Mrs!!
Rose & Tucker’s families were beyond sweet. Every time I turned around they were making sure I had something to drink or eat! I loved their reactions watching Rose & Tucker’s first dance!
Rose and Tucker earned some MAJOR referral bonuses from SMP this year! So as a thank you for spreading the SMP love, they scored themselves a free photo booth! Check back tomorrow for a few more of their photo booth images!
Had to include this picture! Check out all those HC alums! Bleed Purple!!
Literally the last photo of the night!!! LOVE it!
Happy Friday!!!
xo,
Suz

I do not know how I am ever going to get through Julie’s pictures if I am this crazy about Rose and Tucker’s. I am yelling through the empty (and not very big) house to my husband to hurry up and see THIS one…about 20 times!! I’m going to need to be medicated for Julie and Jimmy’s.
Rose, you might possibly be the most photogenic bride ever!! …and the baseballs are so clever! I’m not surprised.
Suzanna. I’m headed straight to Julie and Jimmy’s engagement pix for a quick fix. Thank you for sharing.
Patty
