It's not often I post an entire session in black and white. But, there was just something about this moody early spring afternoon at the farm that just seemed to call for it. The best part about processing in black and white is that is has the power to really bring your eye right to the moment without distraction. The laughter, the calm and the playful all shine through. We almost postponed this session because of the weather forecast but we managed to sneak it in right before the skies opened up - and I'm so happy we did! The whole day actually reminded me a lot of our session in Amsterdam last year at this time (and that's not just because both Michael and Pat have amazingly accurate Christopher Walken impressions!).  
 
Elisa and Michael were a dream to photograph. You could tell immediately that these two are best friends. They were so playful and really dove right into the experience of being photographed head first! I just adore the two of them and I'm even more excited for their wedding in July!
